CONCIERGE
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Assist our guests in a timely and professional manner. This may include seating the guests as needed and offering coffee to-go type of services as requested.
- Responsible for setting up service areas and restocking necessary F&B items including but not limited to coffee, hot food, cold food and to-go condiments during and at the conclusion of your shift.
- When not servicing our guests, the position will clean and maintain the concierge lounge ensuring we comply with all Marriott brand standards.
- Must be able to lift items including service trays up to 20 pounds on a consistent basis as well as be on your feet, standing and walking for up to 8 hours each shift.
- Cleaning items may include cleaning service areas, sweeping as needed, sanitizing, and keeping the restaurant booths, chairs and floor in a presentable manner.
- Support the cleanliness of the kitchen line by cleaning areas that are guest-facing including all high-touch surfaces.
- Professional and friendly communication to both our guests and fellow colleagues is required. This includes the ability to maintain a professional communication over the phone as well as face to face.
- Required to be proficient in our F&B POS system.
- Interacting with guests, keeping food fresh and clean-up after guests depart
- Will work in conjunction with kitchen staff to facilitate cooking & running orders to guest rooms as needed
- PM person must also be able to tend bar and will therefore require active bartending license
QUALIFICATIONS
· Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other employees.
· High school diploma or GED
· Prior kitchen and/or hotel experience a plus
· PM candidate must have active bartending license
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $15.50 per hour
