Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Traffic Control Flagger to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of vehicles and pedestrians around construction sites. This position requires a basic understanding of heavy equipment operation and the ability to communicate effectively with team members and the public. We offer paid training.

Available Positions:
Flagger and Lead Flagger / Sign Setter
$21.00–$24.50/hr. (Depending on experience)
Shift Differentials for night and weekend work
Work sites vary across the region – no two days are the same!
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and maintain safe traffic control zones (training provided)
- Monitor and manage traffic flow on job sites
- Uphold safety and compliance standards
- Stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Represent the company with professionalism and reliability
Basic Requirements:
- Must have 6 months experience or a willingness to learn
- A current, valid MUTCD flagger certification or the willingness to obtain one on your own or with our training team
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Flexible availability, including potential on-call shifts
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the role
- Strong communication skills and reliability
- Ability to follow directions and maintain professionalism on job sites
New and Experienced Flaggers Wanted
- Expert Traffic Control is hiring new and experienced Flaggers to join our team.
- We are looking for dependable, professional individuals who are eager to learn, communicate effectively, work safely, and perform well in a fast-paced outdoor environment.
- Candidates with traffic control, construction, general labor, customer service, or other related experience are encouraged to apply with pay negotiable (dependent on experience)
Schedule Options:
- Open Availability Preferred (M-F, with on-call weekends as needed)
- Shifts variable: 4 to 16-hours based on job specifications
- Overtime and on-call opportunities available
- Travel opportunities to work in other areas we operate in with paid travel and per diems and housing when traveling for multiple days or distance from home base
