We are seeking an experienced Regional Sales Representative to represent our design-driven, luxury tile and stone brand throughout Texas, Oklahoma and Kentucky.
This field-based position is ideal for a sales professional with strong relationships within the architecture and design community and a passion for exceptional materials, craftsmanship and design.
Position Summary
The Regional Sales Representative is responsible for developing and growing sales within the assigned territory by building strong relationships with architects, interior designers, builders, developers and authorized dealer showrooms.
The successful candidate will drive product specifications, identify new business opportunities, support our dealer network, and manage projects and client relationships from initial concept through completion.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to grow revenue throughout the assigned territory.
· Build and maintain relationships with architects, interior designers, builders, developers and other members of the design community.
· Develop and support relationships with authorized Artistic Tile dealer showrooms.
· Present Artistic Tile products and collections to design professionals and dealer partners.
· Drive product specifications and follow projects from initial specification through order and completion.
· Identify and develop new business opportunities within the territory.
· Conduct product presentations, meetings and educational events for architects, designers and dealer partners.
· Maintain a strong understanding of Artistic Tile’s product offerings, applications and technical characteristics.
· Provide timely follow-up on client opportunities, samples, specifications and project needs.
· Monitor territory activity, sales performance and market opportunities.
· Partner with internal sales, customer service and other departments to provide a high level of client service.
· Represent Artistic Tile at industry events, trade shows and other market activities as appropriate.
· Maintain regular travel throughout the assigned territory.
Qualifications
· Minimum 2+ years of sales experience in tile, stone, hard surfaces, architectural materials or a related design-driven industry.
· Established relationships within the architecture, interior design, building or dealer community strongly preferred.
· Strong understanding of tile, stone and/or hard-surface products and applications.
· Demonstrated ability to develop a territory and build long-term client relationships.
· Polished presentation and communication skills with the ability to confidently present to architects, designers and other industry professionals.
· Strong organizational, follow-up and territory-management skills.
· Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a field-based sales position.
· Passion for luxury design, quality materials and craftsmanship.
Physical & Travel Requirements
· Ability to lift, carry and maneuver product samples, sample boards and presentation materials weighing up to 30 pounds.
· Ability to transport and handle samples and presentation materials at client meetings, dealer showrooms, presentations and industry events.
· Ability and willingness to travel extensively throughout Texas, Oklahoma and Kentucky, including regular driving and air travel as business needs require.
· Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a vehicle for business travel.
· Ability to independently manage the physical and travel requirements associated with a field-based sales territory.n design innovation, quality control, and customer service.
Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
