Position Overview
The Guest Services Attendant II ensures each guest has an excellent experience by providing superior service from arrival to departure. The Attendant reports to the Head Golf Professional and works closely with all club staff to create an unrivaled guest experience.
Essential Functions

Deliver exceptional guest service by greeting and welcoming guests with a professional, friendly, and helpful attitude.

Assist guests with golf bags and equipment, transporting and staging them for play.

Prepare, inspect, and stage golf carts to ensure they are clean, fully operational, and stocked with required amenities, including scorecards, pencils, divot sand, and ice.

Provide guests with course information, club policies, and other assistance to enhance their playing experience.

Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the golf cart staging area, cart barn, and other golf operations facilities.

Service the practice facility by setting up daily operations, replenishing practice balls, maintaining tee stations, rotating practice areas in accordance with maintenance programs, and collecting, cleaning, and inspecting golf balls.

Coordinate with Golf Shop staff to ensure compliance with club rules, including dress code and beverage policies.

Perform opening and closing procedures, including inspecting facilities and equipment, securing buildings, and operating alarm systems.
Requirements

Strong verbal communication skills

Valid driver’s permit or license

Basic knowledge of the game of golf

Ability to carry out detailed written and verbal instructions independently
In addition, the ideal candidate will be or have:

1+ years of previous experience in the golf industry or in an upscale customer service position

Passionate about the game of golf

Ability to maneuver and park vehicles safely and accurately, including larger vehicles, in diverse parking environments and tight spaces.

Physical Demands

Ability to visually inspect golf carts, golf clubs, and outside operations area for cleanliness.
- Ability to perform moderate physical work; may be required to lift 100 lbs. occasionally, up to 50 lbs. frequently, and up to 20 lbs. constantly; performing such activities as bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, lifting, and grasping for up to five hours without sitting.
- Ability to operate golf carts.
Work Environment
This position will be regularly exposed to outdoor weather conditions in performing the duties of the job.
