Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of trucks, including front loader, rear loader, roll-off, dump trucks, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers, to deliver materials and equipment efficiently across designated routes. Your expertise in heavy lifting, load and unload procedures, and adherence to safety standards will ensure smooth operations and exceptional service delivery. Duties
- Safely operate a variety of commercial trucks such as front loader, rear loader, roll-off, dump trucks, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers according to company policies and traffic laws
- Load and unload materials using mechanical knowledge of equipment like front loaders and other heavy machinery
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
- Deliver goods to customers or job sites promptly while maintaining excellent customer service standards
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks during loading and unloading processes to ensure safety and efficiency
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and vehicle maintenance records
- Follow all safety protocols related to driving, loading/unloading procedures, and equipment operation
Experience
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Proven experience operating heavy-duty trucks such as dump trucks, flatbeds, or tractor-trailers
- Familiarity with mechanical systems of trucks and basic troubleshooting skills
- Prior experience in delivery driving or logistics roles preferred
- Knowledge of manual transmission operation is advantageous
- Experience with load securing techniques for various truck types including roll-off containers and flatbeds
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Pay: $24.19 - $29.13 per hour
