Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join a growing dental team in the DFW area. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and passionate about providing exceptional patient care while supporting the dentist and clinical team in a fast-paced environment.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for patient care
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
- Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays) as permitted by state regulations
- Record and update patient medical histories and treatment notes
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after procedures
- Maintain infection control and OSHA compliance standards
- Assist with scheduling, charting, and other administrative duties as needed
- Support a positive and professional patient experience
Qualifications
- Active Texas Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment
- Experience with dental software is preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
Preferred Experience
- 1+ year of experience as a Dental Assistant
- Experience in general dentistry preferred
- Familiarity with digital radiography and electronic dental records
