Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Clover POS.
- Prepare and serve food items efficiently while adhering to food safety standards and sanitation protocols.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and assist with basic food preparation tasks to ensure timely service.
- Manage cash register operations, process retail sales transactions, and handle cash with accuracy.
- Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace by following sanitation guidelines and ensuring all food handling procedures are met.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries promptly and ensuring their needs are met throughout their visit.
Requirements
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants, cafes, or the food industry is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Clover POS, with experience in cashiering and food service customer order management.
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining food safety standards.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks during busy periods seamlessly.
- Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing register operations.
- Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that fosters positive guest interactions.
- Experience with food handling, sanitation practices, and maintaining a clean workspace in a retail or restaurant setting is essential.
