Duties
- Perform comprehensive cleaning duties across office areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and trash removal to maintain a pristine environment
- Handle janitorial responsibilities including restocking supplies, sanitizing restrooms, and ensuring common areas are hygienic and organized
- Support facilities maintenance by reporting repairs or safety hazards promptly and assisting with light custodial tasks as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of windows, glass surfaces, and entryways to ensure a bright and welcoming atmosphere
- Follow safety protocols during all cleaning procedures to promote a safe working environment for yourself and others
Qualifications
- Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings with a strong understanding of cleaning techniques and safety standards
- Skilled in floor care procedures such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and general maintenance of flooring surfaces
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and supplies used in large-scale cleaning operations
- Experience with facilities maintenance tasks or porter duties is highly desirable
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure thorough cleaning throughout the building
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning machinery
