Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of construction projects, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
- Coordinate project schedules using advanced project management software such as Primavera P6 and Construction Management tools to optimize workflow and resource allocation.
- Manage teams across multiple disciplines, including subcontractors, engineers, and site personnel, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
- Oversee construction site activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards.
- Review and interpret construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and contracts to facilitate accurate project execution.
- Monitor project costs through detailed cost management practices utilizing HeavyBid or similar estimating tools; track expenditures against budgets regularly.
- Ensure regulatory compliance by adhering to local construction regulations and industry standards throughout all phases of the project.
- Conduct project scheduling coordination with tools like Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project to maintain realistic timelines and identify potential delays early.
- Manage contract administration processes including scope changes, claims resolution, and documentation using Construction project management software.
- Provide leadership in project meetings, progress reporting, risk assessment, and issue resolution to keep projects on track.
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing large-scale infrastructure or commercial construction projects with a strong focus on civil works.
- Proficiency in construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Civil 3D, HeavyBid, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Extensive knowledge of construction scheduling techniques and project coordination practices.
- Demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively in a fast-paced construction environment; excellent leadership skills required.
- Strong understanding of construction estimating, cost management strategies, and budget oversight.
- Familiarity with construction regulatory compliance standards and safety protocols on active sites.
- Ability to read complex blueprints, schematics, and construction plans accurately.
- Experience managing contracts and navigating construction legal frameworks confidently.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
Pay: $95,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
