Position Overview:
As a Tire and lube technician at Pinegar Chevrolet, you will be responsible for mounting and balancing tires, oil changes, performing multi-point inspections and light maintenance, recommending needed maintenance and working with the service consultants. You will play a key role in ensuring our customers receive reliable and timely service, maintaining the reputation we’ve built over four decades.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake repairs, tire rotations, and more.
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify mechanical issues.
- Collaborate with service advisors to communicate repair needs and timeframes to customers.
- Ensure all work is completed to dealership and manufacturer standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- State inspector license would be a plus
