Crew Leader
Zenith Paint & Finish – Powell, WY
Role Overview
We’re looking for a Crew Leader who can run residential interior projects from start to finish. You will be leading a crew here in the Big Horn Basin.
This is not a management-only role—you will be actively painting while also keeping the job moving, maintaining quality, and making sure the crew stays productive.
You’ll act as the point person on-site when ownership is not present and are expected to deliver clean, professional results with minimal rework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Job Flow & Production
- Meet all customer deadlines and milestones
- Plan and execute daily workflow based on job scope
- Keep crew moving efficiently with minimal downtime
- Ensure jobs stay on schedule or ahead of pace
Skilled Painting
- Spray (airless) walls, ceilings, and trim as required
- Roll and backroll finishes
- Perform clean, sharp cut-in work
- Handle higher-skill areas (trim, doors, detail work)
Quality Control
- Maintain Zenith finish standards across the entire job
- Catch and correct issues early
- Deliver work with minimal rework or touch-ups
Crew Leadership (Working Lead)
- Direct Paint Technician and Prep Technician as needed
- Assign tasks clearly and maintain efficiency
- Train and develop crew members on-site
Equipment & Jobsite
- Maintain and care for spray equipment and tools
- Keep jobsite clean, organized, and professional
Client Communication
- Communicate with homeowners or builders as needed
- Represent Zenith professionally during walkthroughs

Pay & Opportunity
- Base Pay: $22–$30/hour (depending on experience)
- Performance Bonuses: Based on job speed, quality, and crew efficiency

Requirements
- 3+ years of residential or professional painting experience
- Experience with spray equipment (airless required)
- Ability to lead a small crew
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physical environment

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
