We are actively hiring an experienced Travel RN Case Manager for a 12-week Acute Care Hospital assignment in Atlanta, Georgia. This is an excellent opportunity for Registered Nurses with strong experience in Acute Care Case Management, Utilization Review, Care Coordination, and Discharge Planning.

Assignment Details
- Position: Travel RN Case Manager
- Location: Atlanta, GA
- Facility: Acute Care Hospital
- Contract Length: 12 Weeks
- Shift: Days (Monday–Friday)
- Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Weekly Pay: Up to $2,000/week
- Start Date: July 2026
- No weekends
- No on-call
- Block scheduling available
- Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate
Required Qualifications
- Active Georgia RN License or Compact RN License
- Minimum 3 years of recent Acute Care RN Case Management experience
- Previous Travel Nursing experience required
- Current BLS Certification
- Strong background in:
- Acute Care Case Management
- Utilization Review
- Concurrent Review
- Continued Stay Reviews
- Discharge Planning
- Care Coordination
- Experience using InterQual and Milliman guidelines
- Knowledge of CMS regulations, Medicare, Medical Necessity Reviews, and HIPAA
- Experience managing appeals and denials
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient care throughout hospitalization
- Develop and manage safe discharge plans
- Conduct utilization review and medical necessity assessments
- Perform concurrent and continued stay reviews
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, social workers, and post-acute providers
- Monitor patient length of stay and identify discharge barriers
- Manage appeals, denials, and insurance authorizations
- Deliver IMM, MOON, and patient choice documentation
- Ensure compliance with CMS, Joint Commission, HIPAA, and hospital policies
- Facilitate smooth transitions to LTAC, Rehab, SNF, Home Health, or other levels of care
Candidate Requirements
- First-time travelers will not be considered
- Maximum RTO: 7 days
- All RTO must be submitted before offer acceptance
- No schedule changes after offer acceptance
- Compliance documents must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
- All onboarding requirements are due by the Tuesday before the assignment start date
