Responsibilities
- Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service during all shifts
- Lead and motivate team members through effective training, coaching, and performance management
- Manage food preparation processes to uphold quality standards and food safety regulations
- Oversee inventory control, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize profitability
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, including food handling and sanitation protocols
- Assist in hiring, interviewing, onboarding new staff, and conducting ongoing staff training
- Monitor customer service levels to guarantee a positive dining experience for all guests
- Manage shift schedules, coordinate team assignments, and oversee kitchen operations
- Conduct profit and loss analysis to support budgeting efforts and improve financial performance
Requirements
- Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant management with a strong background in food industry operations
- Demonstrated supervisory experience with team management and leadership skills
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety standards
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for cash handling and order processing
- Experience in inventory control, food management, and cost control strategies
- Excellent communication skills for managerial tasks including interviewing, training & development, and staff supervision
- Ability to handle basic math calculations accurately for cash handling and financial reporting
- Previous experience in casual dining or fine dining environments is preferred but not required
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
