Warehouse Associate – Stock Picker & Inventory Handler

Bon Chef, Inc. is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations, including order picking, inventory organization, and material movement between departments. This position includes forklift training and certification for the right candidate.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys staying active, working in a fast-paced environment, and ensuring accurate and efficient flow of materials throughout the facility.
Responsibilities
- Pick and stage orders accurately based on work orders and production needs
- Deliver picked materials and components to designated departments in a timely manner
- Organize and maintain bin locations to ensure accurate inventory placement
- Consolidate inventory to maximize warehouse space and improve efficiency
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory verification as needed
- Safely move materials using pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided)
- Load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
- Follow all warehouse procedures and safety guidelines
- Assist with other general warehouse duties as assigned
Requirements
- Ability to learn and operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts (training provided)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order picking and inventory handling
- Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and remain active throughout an 8-hour shift
- Basic math and reading skills for order accuracy
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
- Dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious
- Prior warehouse, shipping/receiving, or inventory experience is helpful but not required
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly Pay: $16.00 – $20.00 per hour, based on experience
