Overview
EverLine Coatings is looking for a college student to join our team part-time. We are an asphalt maintenance and striping company needing help with creating takeoffs for our influx of bid requests. This position will allow a student to venture into the real world and gain valuable experience while still completing their education.
The Junior Estimator will be creating takeoffs for 2 types of projects
1 - New Construction......Striping & Signage
2 - Maintenance...............Crack-Seal, Sealcoat, Striping
Responsibilities
- Create accurate takeoffs for Asphalt Maintenance and Striping/Signage projects using construction documents, blueprints, and Google Earth
- Gain understanding of industry practices, standards, terminology
- Rapid communication with senior team
- If learning quickly, eventually prepare bid documents for senior team to review
Experience/Skills
- Construction/Estimating Background (Asphalt, Striping, Signage experienced preferred but not required)
- Ability to scan large plan sets and quickly find pertinent scope pages
- Quickly and accurately provide takeoffs to senior team
- Basic proficiency with Google systems, BuildingConnected, and blueprints
- Acute attention to detail
- English (Fluent Proficiency)
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
