OPERATIONS CREW MEMBER
Job Description
Work schedule: Tuesday through Friday, 1:00pm - 10:00pm and Saturday, 9:00am - 6:00pm
The Operations Crew Member works as an integral member of the Operations staff under the direct supervision of the Event Operations Manager. Campbell Hall is seeking a hard-working, friendly, motivated member of the operations team.
Completes daily operations work orders and campus setup assignments.
Assists with setup and breakdown of classrooms, meetings, and special events.
Moves, arranges, and stores furniture, tables, chairs, and event equipment.
Maintains organization and cleanliness of storage areas, faculty lounges, and event support supplies.
Assists with office and classroom moves as needed.
Supports operations projects, school events, and camp coordination throughout the year and during school breaks.
Assists with traffic control during student drop-off, pick-up, and special events as needed.
Safely operates campus equipment including electric carts, dollies, ladders, and hand tools.
Maintains a flexible schedule with ability to work evenings and weekends based on school operational needs.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education: High School Diploma preferred
Minimum Experience Required: 1–3 years of operations, facilities, custodial, hospitality, warehouse, or event support experience preferred
Skills Required: Strong work ethic, positive attitude, reliability, and ability to work effectively as part of a team
Technology Requirement: Basic familiarity with Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and smart device navigation preferred.
Primarily works outdoors, with some indoor responsibilities
Equipment Used: electric carts, hand tools, ladders, and furniture dollies
Lifting/Carrying 21–50 lbs; pushing/pulling up to 100 lbs
Frequent walking, climbing, kneeling, squatting, bending, and working on uneven or slippery surfaces
Ability to load and unload furniture, equipment, and school materials
Repetitive hand and foot motions, grasping, handling, and reaching required.
Final employment will be contingent upon successful completion of background screening and reference checks.
