Who We Are
At SPF, we believe pickleball is more than a game - it’s community, connection, and the best reason to say “yes” to a good time. We’re a lively, people-powered destination where friends, coworkers, and families gather for unforgettable play, great food, and high-energy events. From corporate team-building to birthday bashes to lawn games on the turf, we make every experience one to remember, and we want our social channels to do the same.
Who You Are
You’re a creative, self-starter who lives on social media - not just scrolling, but thinking strategically about what makes content stop thumbs and build real community. You have a sharp eye for what’s trending, a knack for capturing authentic moments, and the initiative to bring ideas to the table without being asked. You thrive in a fast-moving, energetic environment and genuinely love connecting people to experiences. Bonus points if you know your way around a pickleball court!
What You’ll Do
Content Creation & Curation
- Own the day-to-day content calendar across SPF’s social platforms - Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and beyond.
- Curate and create engaging content that captures the energy of SPF: the games, the people, the food, the vibe.
- Capture on-site photos and videos during shifts, events, and activations at Lincoln Park and All Day.
- Edit and produce short-form video content (Reels, TikToks) that’s platform-native and scroll-stopping.
- Stay on top of trends, sounds, formats, and conversations in the social space - and bring relevant ideas back to the team quickly.
- Repurpose and highlight user-generated content (UGC) from our community to build authenticity and reach.
Strategy & Channel Growth
- Partner closely with the VP of Marketing & Partnerships on overall social strategy, goals, and channel direction.
- Take real ownership of SPF’s social presence - come to the table with ideas, not just execution.
- Track performance metrics (reach, engagement, follower growth) and share insights and recommendations regularly.
- Identify opportunities to grow the audience and deepen engagement with our existing community.
- Help develop campaigns and content arcs around key moments: events, seasons, product launches, and community milestones.
Community & Collaboration
- Engage with our followers - responding to comments, DMs, and mentions to keep the community warm and active.
- Collaborate with the events, operations, and food & beverage teams to stay ahead of what’s happening on-site and tell those stories.
- Coordinate with partners, influencers, and brand accounts for co-created content and cross-promotion opportunities.
- Be present and plugged in at Lincoln Park, with regular visits to All Day to capture content and stay connected to both locations.
What You Bring to the Court
- A strong social media presence or portfolio that shows you understand how to build and grow an engaged audience.
- Hands-on experience creating and editing short-form video content (TikTok, Reels, etc.).
- A proactive mindset - you spot content opportunities and act on them without waiting to be told.
- Strong visual instincts and an eye for what looks and feels authentic vs. overly polished.
- Comfort with social media tools and analytics (Later, Sprout, Meta Business Suite, or similar).
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate easily with a small, fast-moving team.
- Availability for some evenings and weekends - that’s when the best moments happen.
- Bonus: You know pickleball - or you’re genuinely excited to learn it and love it publicly.
