About the Role
Express Employment Professionals is looking for a motivated Industrial/ Skilled Trades Employment Specialist to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, building business relationships, and helping skilled and general labor candidates find meaningful employment opportunities.
The Industrial Employment Specialist will be responsible for recruiting, interviewing, and developing associates while also building strong relationships with local companies and helping meet their workforce needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit and interview skilled trades and general labor candidates
- Identify candidates' skills, experience, career goals, and employment needs
- Match qualified associates with appropriate job opportunities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with placed associates
- Provide coaching, support, and follow-up to help associates succeed
- Build and maintain professional relationships with client companies
- Understand clients' staffing and workforce needs
- Work with local businesses to identify and fill open positions
- Communicate regularly with both clients and associates to ensure successful placements
- Maintain accurate candidate and client information
- Provide excellent customer service to both job seekers and employers
- Represent Express Employment Professionals professionally in the community
What We're Looking For
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build relationships with both candidates and business clients
- Comfortable interviewing candidates and assessing skills and experience
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Professional and confident when communicating with employers and job seekers
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus
