Overview
Join our hospitality team as a Full-Time Night Auditor / Front Desk Agent at Holiday Inn & Suites. This important role combines front desk guest service, overnight hotel operations, and night audit responsibilities. We are looking for a strong, dependable, and experienced hotel professional who can provide excellent service, work independently, and help keep the hotel running smoothly during overnight hours.
The ideal candidate will have previous hotel front desk experience, strong customer service skills, professional phone etiquette, and the ability to handle guest needs calmly and confidently. Open availability is preferred during training. Once the team is fully in place, we will review the possibility of a more consistent schedule.
Responsibilities
- Oversee front desk operations during the 11 PM–7 AM shift, including check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and guest inquiries
- Complete night audit procedures, including reconciling daily financial transactions, balancing reports, and preparing accurate records
- Provide outstanding customer service by addressing guest needs promptly, professionally, and courteously
- Handle multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette and direct calls efficiently
- Respond to guest requests, questions, complaints, and concerns while maintaining a positive guest experience
- Monitor hotel activity during overnight hours and follow all safety and security procedures
- Conduct property walks and safety checks as needed
- Maintain accurate guest records and update reservation systems
- Communicate clearly with management, housekeeping, maintenance, and other team members
- Assist with administrative duties, emails, reports, and Microsoft Office tasks as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area
- Support the hotel during other shifts as needed for training or scheduling coverage
Requirements
- Previous hotel front desk experience is required
- Night audit experience is strongly preferred
- Strong customer service and guest relations skills
- Professional phone etiquette and experience with multi-line phone systems
- Comfortable using hotel systems, email, and Microsoft Office
- Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Must be available to work the 11 PM–7 AM shift
- Open availability during training is preferred
- Must be able to handle guest issues calmly, professionally, and with good judgment
- Ability to follow safety, security, and hotel procedures
- Holiday Inn, IHG, or branded hotel experience is a plus
