Overview
Join our clinical research team as a contract Registered Dietitian or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist. We are seeking a registered dietitian to provide dietary expertise in support of clinical research studies involving participant nutrition assessment, counseling, education, and protocol implementation. In this role, responsibilities may include:
- Conducting nutrition assessments and dietary consultations for study participants.
- Providing individualized nutrition education and counseling in accordance with research protocols.
- Assisting with the development and implementation of nutrition-related study procedures.
- Maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with study protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborating with investigators, research coordinators, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality participant care and data integrity.
The ideal candidate is a licensed/registered dietitian or registered dietitian nutritionist with strong clinical experience, excellent communication skills, and an interest in contributing to evidence-based research. Previous experience in clinical research is preferred but not required. This is a contract position with flexible scheduling based on study needs. Compensation will be discussed based on experience and scope of work.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field; registration or eligibility for registration as a Registered Dietitian (RD).
- Proven experience working in acute care settings with critical care experience preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with EMR/EHR management systems.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
- Experience in surgical environments such as plastic surgery or general surgery is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of diagnostic radiology procedures relevant to nutritional assessment.
- Ability to handle manual tasks safely within healthcare environments while maintaining patient dignity and safety.

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
