Spring Musical - Acting/Technical Assistant
Reports to the Superintendent, Principal, and/or Supervisor of Fine & Performing Arts. In conjunction with the Spring Musical Director, responsibilities include all acting/technical aspects of the production, but are not limited to:
General Duties and Responsibilities:

In conjunction with the Director, support the rehearsal objectives

Principles and techniques of acting
-
Enunciation, diction, dialect, expression, improvisation, projection
-
Acting style, character development, personality
-
Singing/vocal production
-
Scheduling acting-specific rehearsals
-
Blocking and staging
-
Participate in audition and casting process
-
Stagecraft, stage makeup, costume craft
-
Lighting & sound design
Qualifications:

Ability to maintain a positive work environment

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Proven ability to produce high-quality theatrical experiences

Strong organization skills

Passion for student-centered arts education

Committed to continuous program growth and to creating meaningful performance opportunities

Appropriate New Jersey Certification or New Jersey Substitute Certification required
