Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities, including cleaning and laundry, tasks, to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness are maintained throughout the property
- Lead, train, and motivate housekeeping staff to deliver consistent, quality service while fostering a positive team environment
- Develop and implement cleaning protocols, schedules, and checklists that align with industry best practices and safety regulations
- Oversee inventory management for cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment to optimize resources and reduce waste
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards and safety procedures
- Manage staff scheduling, performance evaluations, and ongoing training programs to enhance team productivity and professional growth
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate special cleaning projects or event preparations that require meticulous attention to detail
Qualifications
- Proven experience in housekeeping supervision within the hospitality sector or related fields such as industrial cleaning or custodial services.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
- Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and staff.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices.
