Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC)
Location: Louisiana
Pharmacy Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Job Type: Full-Time (40 hours per week)

We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and patient-focused Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) to lead our pharmacy team. Responsibilities
- Serve as the Pharmacist-in-Charge in accordance with all Louisiana Board of Pharmacy and federal regulations.
- Maintain responsibility for pharmacy operations, workflow, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.
- Promote a culture of teamwork, professionalism, respect, and accountability.
- Lead, mentor, and develop pharmacists, technicians, interns, and support staff.
- Foster open communication while addressing employee concerns professionally and constructively.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, DEA, CMS, OSHA, and all applicable pharmacy regulations.
- Develop and maintain pharmacy policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Monitor medication safety, inventory management, controlled substance compliance, and clinical programs.
- Collaborate with leadership to improve operational efficiency, patient outcomes, and business performance.
- Build positive relationships with patients, providers, vendors, and community partners.
- Support innovation in pharmacy services, including immunizations, clinical services, wellness programs, medication synchronization, and specialty initiatives.
Qualifications
- Active Louisiana Pharmacist license in good standing.
- Minimum of 3 years of community pharmacy experience preferred.
- Previous leadership or management experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Louisiana Board of Pharmacy regulations and federal pharmacy laws.
- Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to coach and develop employees.
- Strong organizational and critical thinking skills.
- Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous quality improvement.
