Overview
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Crane Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical knowledge and experience operating various types of heavy equipment, including cranes, bulldozers, and concrete mixers. As a Crane Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials on construction sites.
Duties
- Operate cranes to lift, move, and position heavy materials and equipment safely.
- Conduct pre-operation inspections on cranes and other heavy machinery to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Collaborate with ground crew members to ensure safe operations and effective communication during lifts.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and maintenance.
- Perform routine maintenance on cranes and other heavy equipment as needed.
- Assist with the operation of additional heavy equipment such as water trucks, front loader trucks, tankers, and bulldozers when required.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Crane Operator or in a similar role involving heavy equipment operation.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations is preferred.
- Experience operating various types of heavy machinery including cranes, bulldozers, concrete mixers, and water trucks is highly desirable.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and adapt to changing job site environments.
