Day Porter / Maintenance Technician
The Day Porter / Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing a variety of janitorial and light maintenance tasks at our managed buildings and the surrounding property. Assuring the facilities and grounds are maintained and cleaned daily. Interface with tenants, provide effective communication between co-workers, tenants and vendors. This position will report to the Facility Management Supervisor with daily coordination with the Property Manager and will include a variety of general labor tasks as well as routine maintenance at the facilities.
Job Duties
- Day cleaning of building common areas, daily trash removal, Daily spot vacuuming, if needed.
- Daily cleaning of restrooms including stocking of supplies if needed.
- Monthly ordering of cleaning supplies.
- Maintain good housekeeping and cleanliness standards.
- Perform a variety of light maintenance tasks inside executive suites including ceiling tile replacement, light bulb and ballast replacement, sink and toilet repairs.
- Exterior ground duties including trash pick-up, sweeping, painting, dispersing ice melt as needed, minor repairs, etc.
- Performs other related duties as required.
- Use hand tools such as hammers, wrenches, and other tools.
- Read and comprehend written instructions including safety procedures, safety signs, schedules, Material Safety Data Sheets and procedures.
- Properties utilize MRI Angus Work Order System, on-the-job training provided.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 2-4 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
- Experience in customer relations.
- Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry tools and equipment used for the job.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance before employment and maintain licensure for the duration of employment in this position.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug test.
Benefits
- Pay: $22.00 to $25.00 per hour

Schedule
- Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
- Overtime paid, if needed
Work Location
Denver Tech Center and other locations as assigned throughout the metro area.
