Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Breakfast Attendant to join our dynamic hospitality team. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of breakfast items, including hot and cold dishes, beverages, and snacks, adhering to food safety standards
- Set up breakfast buffet stations, ensuring all items are stocked, attractive, and hygienic throughout service hours
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, kitchen stations, and food prep zones by cleaning utensils, surfaces, and equipment regularly
- Assist with food handling, portion control, and presentation to ensure quality standards are met consistently
- Engage with guests courteously, answer questions about menu options, and provide exceptional customer service to enhance their breakfast experience
- Support catering events or banquet setups as needed to accommodate large groups or special occasions
Qualifications
- Prior kitchen experience or food preparation background is highly preferred
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent communication skills with strong phone etiquette and guest relations abilities
- Ability to work early mornings and stand for extended periods while maintaining energy and enthusiasm
- Previous hospitality roles such as host/hostess or banquet server are a plus
- Familiarity with cleaning protocols, bussing tables, and general food service operations
- Culinary skills including knife techniques, meat cutting, or coffee experience will be considered an asset
- Strong teamwork orientation with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
