Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable CDL-A Truck Driver to safely transport and deliver products to local and regional customers. This position offers a predictable Monday through Friday schedule with daily home time, allowing you to enjoy a rewarding driving career while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
What You'll Do
- Safely operate a tractor-trailer to transport products to customer locations.
- Deliver freight accurately and on schedule.
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safety standards.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Plan routes effectively while accounting for traffic and weather conditions.
- Secure cargo properly to ensure safe transportation.
- Complete delivery paperwork and maintain accurate records.
- Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and team members.
- Represent Avalon Transportation Services with professionalism and excellent customer service.

RequirementsRequired
- Valid CDL Class A License
Preferred
- 1 year of CDL-A driving experience
