Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Assistant Property Manager to support the daily operations of our residential apartment complex. The ideal candidate will assist with leasing, resident relations, rent collection, maintenance coordination, and administrative tasks while helping ensure excellent customer service and efficient property operations.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Property Manager with the day-to-day management of the property.
- Provide exceptional customer service to current and prospective residents.
- Process rental applications, lease agreements, renewals, and move-in/move-out paperwork.
- Collect rent payments and follow up on delinquent accounts.
- Coordinate and track maintenance requests to ensure timely completion.
- Conduct property inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
- Maintain accurate resident files and property records.
- Answer phones, respond to emails, and greet visitors professionally.
- Assist with marketing, resident retention, and community events.
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws and company policies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
- 1–2 years of property management, leasing, or customer service experience preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Prior experience in LIHTC and HAP and must be able to utilize Rightsource, RentCafe and Yardi platforms.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required.
- Bilingual Spanish preferred
- Must have Yardi, RentCafe, Rightsource, and Customer Service experience.

- Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour
