Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items with skill, consistency, and attention to detail, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards.
- Assist in preparation by executing existing recipes and procedures on a consistent basis.
- Handle food with care, following strict food safety and sanitation protocols to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Support food preparation activities such as chopping, marinating, portioning, and assembling ingredients for service.
- Maintain proper food handling procedures during meal preparation, serving, and storage to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate meal service efficiently while maintaining a positive work atmosphere.
- Contribute to catering events or special functions by preparing large quantities of food with precision and speed.
Experience
- Previous experience in a high volume and fast paced kitchen is preferred.
- Proven background in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant experience demonstrating strong culinary skills.
- Skilled in food handling techniques including knife skills, portion control, and plating presentation.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation regulations essential for maintaining a safe kitchen environment.

Pay: $17.00 - $18.50 per hour
