Responsibilities
- Safely operate 18' box truck and for delivery routes, ensuring timely pickups and drop-offs.
- Load and unload goods using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Follow designated routes accurately while adhering to traffic laws and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations.
- 30-40 hrs per week
- Start time between 5:30 and 6:30 am
- Ability to lift 10-20 pound bags
Skills
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier.
- Ability to operate an 18' box truck and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Strong knowledge of safe lifting practices, heavy lifting techniques, and weight handling in the workplace.
- Familiarity with route driving, adhering to traffic regulations, and DOT (Department of Transportation) compliance requirements.
- Excellent customer service skills with professional communication abilities.
- Ability to handle manual handling tasks efficiently while maintaining safety standards.
- Experience operating mobile devices for route navigation, delivery updates, and record keeping.
Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
