JOB This position reports to and supports the Chief Information Officer and directly manages IT employees across all campuses and locations. The role is responsible for the strategic planning and operational support of systems, voice, data, and network services for the College, including day-to-day management of hardware and software activities supporting these environments.
This position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with College policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; evaluating performance; providing coaching and development; addressing complaints; and resolving operational and personnel issues.

- Strong technical leadership and project management experience in enterprise IT environments.

Extensive knowledge of digital voice and data telecommunications systems, including performance optimization and capacity planning.

Broad understanding of networking technologies across all OSI layers, from physical infrastructure through application-level communications.

Working knowledge of TCP/IP and web-based technologies.

Working knowledge of dynamic routing protocols in enterprise environments.

Good understanding of network security concepts, including firewalls, access control, and segmentation.

Good understanding of Network Access Control (NAC) and identity-based network technologies, including 802.1x.

Good understanding of enterprise infrastructure architecture and design principles.
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
- Industry certifications in networking (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent).
