Responsibilities
- Analyze supply chain data using tools like Tableau, Power BI, and SQL to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for optimization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements utilizing Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and other methodologies
- Manage inventory control and demand planning activities to ensure optimal stock levels across multiple locations using SAP ERP, Oracle EBS, or other ERP systems
- Coordinate procurement and purchasing activities to secure materials efficiently while maintaining cost-effectiveness
- Conduct root cause analysis on supply chain disruptions or inefficiencies and develop actionable solutions for continuous improvement
- Oversee manufacturing schedules and production planning to align with demand forecasts using MRP systems and production analytics
- Support logistics operations by optimizing transportation routes, warehouse layouts, and inventory management strategies
Experience
- Proven experience in supply chain management or related roles with a strong understanding of logistics, procurement, inventory control, and manufacturing processes
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP ERP, Oracle EBS, or similar platforms; familiarity with SAP modules is highly desirable
- Demonstrated ability to utilize data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI for supply chain analytics and reporting
- Knowledge of process improvement methodologies including Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in SQL for data extraction and analysis; experience with Power BI is a plus
- Familiarity with demand planning software and production scheduling tools such as MRP systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis and implement effective solutions in a fast-paced environment
