About This Position
This is not a job where you’ll only perform nursing duties.
As a small family-owned clinic, everyone helps with everything. There are no “that’s not my job” attitudes here. Our team works together to ensure every patient has an exceptional experience from the moment they walk through the door until they leave.
That means you may:
- Answer phones
- Schedule appointments
- Check patients in and out
- Collect payments
- Help keep the clinic organized and stocked
- Assist coworkers whenever needed
- Jump in wherever the team needs support
We’re looking for someone who enjoys working in a close-knit environment and understands that teamwork is what makes a small business successful.
Responsibilities
- Assist providers with patient evaluations and treatments
- Perform patient intake, medical histories, and vital signs
- Administer injections and medications within LPN scope of practice
- Draw blood and process laboratory specimens
- Educate patients on medications and treatment plans
- Prepare exam rooms and maintain clinic cleanliness
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR)
- Answer incoming phone calls
- Schedule appointments
- Check patients in and out
- Process patient payments
- Assist with inventory management and medication organization
- Help wherever needed to keep the clinic running efficiently
- Maintain compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and clinic policies
QualificationsRequired
- Current Tennessee LPN license in good standing
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Comfortable using computers and electronic medical records
- Reliable transportation and excellent attendance
Preferred
- Experience in hormone replacement therapy, family practice, primary care, wellness, or urgent care
- Phlebotomy experience
- IV therapy experience
- Experience administering injections
- Knowledge of medical aesthetics is a plus
