Sunrise Pediatric Dentistry is a locally owned pediatric dental practice located in Denver, CO. We are a collaborative, engaging, and supportive team dedicated to providing exceptional dental care in a fun, kid-friendly environment.
We are currently seeking a full-time Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA) to join our amazing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an outgoing, energetic, and detail-oriented professional who enjoys working with children and thrives in a fast-paced setting. We are looking for a long-term team member with previous EDDA experience who is passionate about patient care and teamwork.

Job Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient care and support
- Review patient charts and treatment plans
- Prepare treatment rooms and procedure trays
- Seat and prepare patients for treatment
- Assist the doctor during procedures
- Provide patient education and post-operative instructions
- Escort and dismiss patients to the front desk
- Perform coronal polishing and place sealants (with appropriate certifications)
- Take dental radiographs
- Follow all infection control and sterilization protocols
- Sterilize instruments, handpieces, and treatment rooms
- Stock treatment rooms and maintain supplies
- Pour and trim models and assist with lab work
- Order supplies and monitor equipment maintenance
- Support fellow team members as needed
- Help promote the practice and welcome new patients
Qualifications
- Previous EDDA experience required
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to answer patient questions and address concerns with kindness and professionalism
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and dental software (Dentrix experience is a plus)
