Journeyman Electrician / Project Manager
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour (DOE)
We are seeking an experienced Journeyman Electrician / Project Manager to oversee electrical construction projects from planning through completion. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, extensive electrical experience, and the ability to manage crews, schedules, budgets, and client expectations while ensuring all work is completed safely and in compliance with applicable codes.
Requirements:
- Journeyman Electrician License required
- Minimum 3-5 years of Project Management experience in electrical construction
- Strong knowledge of commercial and industrial electrical systems
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings
- Experience coordinating manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractors
- Strong understanding of NEC codes and safety regulations
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Must provide copies of all relevant certifications and licenses
- PLC experience is a plus
- OSHA 30 certification preferred
Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple electrical projects from start to finish
- Coordinate and supervise field personnel and subcontractors
- Review project plans, specifications, and schedules
- Ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget
- Conduct site visits, safety meetings, and progress reviews
- Communicate with clients, vendors, and project stakeholders
- Order and track materials and equipment
- Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and company safety policies
- Troubleshoot project issues and implement solutions as needed
- Maintain project documentation, reports, and change orders
Qualifications:
- Proven experience managing electrical construction projects
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Proficient in project scheduling and cost tracking
- Ability to lead teams and maintain a productive work environment
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Compensation: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour to start, based on experience and qualifications.
