Ohio Orthopedic Network, LLC, is seeking to hire a Hybrid-Full-Time Medical Assistant (MA) to help ensure that our patients are getting the care and treatments they need. This MA position comes with a competitive starting wage based on education and years of experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet and prepare patients for medical examinations, procedures, and treatments
- Coordinate with local medical facilities and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
- Record patients' medical history, vital signs, and other relevant information
- Assist healthcare professionals with patient examinations and treatments
- Perform administrative duties, including managing patient documentation, scheduling, and maintaining accurate records
- Handle administrative tasks such as patient documents, reaching out to referral resources such as Physical Therapy, MRI for scheduling.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, confidentiality standards (HIPAA), and clinic protocols
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and confidentiality protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients to provide clear instructions and support
- Support team operations by multitasking and adapting to varying patient volumes and clinic needs
QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduated and received certification from an accredited medical assistant program OR eligibility to obtain certification
- Previous experience as a Medical Assistant preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work effectively with the team.
- Ability to be on your feet for extended periods
- CPR certification or willing to attain upon hire
- Fluent in Spanish is a must
