Inside Sales Representative
Duties and Responsibilities:
The Inside Sales Representative supports the growth of our chemical product portfolio by developing qualified leads, conducting outbound sales outreach, managing customer accounts, and building strong relationships with customers across various industries. This role is responsible for identifying new opportunities, responding to customer inquiries, and supporting the sales pipeline from initial contact through order placement and ongoing account support. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, customer-focused, and able to communicate technical product information in a clear, professional manner.
Key Responsibilities:
· Work with customers to determine material requirements including quantities, specifications, and shipping.
· Review customer P.O.’s to ensure information is accurate and within the company’s scope of work
· Conduct high-volume outbound calls and email outreach to prospective customers to present chemical products, capabilities, and value propositions.
· Develop, qualify, and nurture leads through research, follow-up, and effective communication.
· Serve as an account manager for assigned customers, ensuring consistent communication, timely support, and proactive identification of customer needs.
· Respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner by providing product information, pricing, availability, and accurate technical documentation.
· Prepare and follow up on quotes, ensuring all details are correct and aligned with customer requirements.
· Manage customer accounts by monitoring order activity, resolving issues, and coordinating with operations, logistics, and procurement teams.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing customers to support long-term business growth.
· Maintain detailed and accurate CRM records for leads, contacts, opportunities, and customer interactions.
· Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify potential sales and expansion opportunities.
· Meet or exceed activity metrics and revenue goals.
· Support sample requests and coordinate technical resources as needed.
· Ensure all activities align with chemical safety, regulatory, and quality standards.

Qualifications:
· High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
· Bachelor's degree in a science related field preferred
· 1-3 years’ experience in inside sales or account management, preferably within the chemical, manufacturing, or regulated industries.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage technical, purchasing, and operations professionals.
· Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage product specifications, documentation, and complex customer requirements accurately.
· Comfortable making outbound calls and proactively engaging new prospects.
· Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
· Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) required.
· Ability to learn and understand chemical product categories, specifications, and customer applications.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
