Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their experience and foster repeat business.
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently while handling cash transactions responsibly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Develop new beverage recipes and contribute creative ideas to keep the menu fresh and exciting.
- Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies as needed, and communicate stock shortages promptly.
- Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods, including banquet or catering events if applicable.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bartender with strong cocktail-making skills and extensive beverage knowledge, including spirits, wine, brewing, and mixology techniques.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient order processing.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders while maintaining quality standards.
- Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling procedures, and sanitation regulations.
- Previous experience in fine dining settings or hospitality industry roles is highly desirable.
- Ability to process cash transactions accurately using retail math and basic math skills.
