Automotive BDC Representative

A BDC representative receives inbound calls, makes outbound calls and answers online inquiries from interested auto buyers. The representative's objective is to engage each potential client by answering their questions and setting them up for an appointment with our sales team.
Even if you don’t have BDC experience, don’t let that slow you down. We’ll bring you up to speed and put you on a pay plan that pays out. If you have the experience, expect to step it up a notch. We’ll reward your effort handsomely.
BDC Representative Qualifications:
- Experience in an automotive setting preferred
- Confident, pleasant and professional phone voice
- Possess time management skills and be able to work independently
- Take direction well
- Must like being part of a TEAM
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Clean background check
BDC Representative Responsibilities:
- Generate appointments and quotes by means of proactive outbound prospecting and lead activity management in an effort to qualify and market to potential customers
- Set appointments
- Listen and be attentive to customer needs and priorities in order to provide appropriate suggestions and guidance on our vehicle offerings
- Provide superior customer service and achieve the highest degree of customer satisfaction
- Work in close partnership with sales consultants to provide qualified leads and detailed information on customer requirements
- Direct customers to product information resources, including those available on the internet
- Check email frequently and respond to inquiries immediately
- Deliver inquiries/messages intended for other personnel and departments promptly
- Contribute to the overall success of the dealership by working with all customers, teams, and departments collaboratively and professionally with a positive, roll-up your sleeves attitude
BDC Representative Preferred Skills and Experience:
Prior customer relations or BDC experience preferred, but not required. We are willing to train and develop the right individual.
