Overview
We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and professional Bartender and Server to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service in a friendly environment in a clubhouse and pro shop setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in food and beverage service, excellent communication skills, and a passion for hospitality. Prior experience on a register is preferred. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your skills in serving, bartending, and creating memorable guest experiences. This job will require helping to maintain the clubhouse and proshop and clean as needed. The hours will include evenings and weekends.
Responsibilities
- Take orders accurately and efficiently.
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner
- Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks responsibly as a bartender
- Ensure all food safety and sanitation standards are maintained at all times
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Maintain clean and organized workstations, including bar area and dining space
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions, and ensuring satisfaction
- Assist with special functions as needed
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations while maintaining attention to detail and efficiency
- Uphold responsible alcohol service policies and promote a safe environment for guests
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or retail math preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively during busy hours
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and sales transactions
- Experience in serving alcohol responsibly
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as required by the venue
