Cocineros are the "heart of the house" and perfectly prepare guests' meals, ensuring a great dining experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Prepare high-quality food to On The Border specifications
· Adhere to OTB safety and sanitation policies and procedures
· Communicate cook times, and potential issues with Managers and Team Members
· Detailed knowledge of the menu, including all seasonal/promotional items
· Complete assigned prep work, set-up, and breakdown of the kitchen
· Ensure proper rotation of all products; stocks to requirements
· Clean and sanitize throughout the shift-"clean as you go
· Able to effectively communicate with other Team Members and Managers
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Minimum of 1 year of food preparation experience required
· Experience with quantity food preparation preferred; including knife handling
· Demonstrate cooking skills and ability to follow established menus and recipes
· Ability to lift and carry up to 70 lbs. during the shift; ability to place items on high shelves
· Ability to stand for long periods of time; ability to bend, stoop and twist
· Ability to read and understand written and spoken English.

Pay: $17.56 - $21.00 per hour
