Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced lead carpenter helper with a minimum of five years of hands-on experience in the remodeling field. Duties
- Assist lead carpenters and remodelers with framing, trim carpentry, and fixture installation to ensure precise craftsmanship.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to support accurate project execution.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery safely while adhering to all safety protocols.
- Support the installation of siding, shingle, slate, drywall, flooring, and cabinetry to meet project specifications.
- Prepare construction sites by performing tasks such as demolition cleanup, material handling, and site organization.
- Assist with concrete forming, rebar installation, cabinet, vanity , and water damage restoration efforts as needed.
- Perform heavy lifting and physical tasks required for remodeling projects while maintaining safety standards.
Experience
- Minimum of five years’ experience in remodeling or construction environments with a focus on residential or commercial projects.
- Proven skills in carpentry disciplines including framing, trim work, door hanging, cabinet installation, and metal stud framing.
- Familiarity with interpreting construction plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Hands-on experience with power tool safety practices and proper handling of hand tools.
- Knowledge of various construction trades such as plumbing, electrical work, roofing, masonry, plastering, and fabrication.
- Experience working on restoration projects including mold remediation and water damage repair is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting regularly while maintaining safety procedures; prior experience in the restoration industry is advantageous.

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
