FRONT OFFICE SPECIALIST - Be the Welcoming Face of a Brand-New Pediatric Clinic

Full-time - Monday through Friday, NO weekends
$16-$18 per hour, based on experience of pediatric or family medicine clinic
THE ROLE
We just finished building something special: a brand-new, beautifully designed pediatric clinic in Lansing - and we're looking for the right person to be the first face families see when they walk through our navy blue door.
This is not a revolving-door front desk job. We are looking for someone who wants to settle in, become the heart of our front office, know our families by name, and make this clinic their professional home for years to come. If you bring calm to a busy waiting room, steadiness to a ringing phone, and warmth to a nervous parent, you are exactly who we hope to meet.
WHAT YOUR DAY LOOKS LIKE
- Welcoming children and families - often at their most worried moments - with patience and kindness
- Answering phones and scheduling appointments with care and accuracy
- Verifying insurance BEFORE visits and collecting copays
- Checking families in and out smoothly
- Keeping patient records accurate in Epic
- Helping families with billing and insurance questions
- Being a steady, dependable partner to our providers and clinical team

- Epic EMR experience strongly preferred; pediatrics or family practice background a plus
