Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, with experience in both quick service and fine dining environments.
Duties
- Assist in managing daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and quality service.
- Oversee inventory control, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels.
- Handle cash management and ensure accurate cash handling procedures are followed.
- Utilize POS system Toast. Experience a plus but not required.
- Maintain compliance with food safety regulations and standards.
- Foster a positive work environment through effective team management and conflict resolution.
- Engage with customers to enhance their dining experience and address any concerns promptly.
Experience
- Proven experience in restaurant management or as an Assistant Manager in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with inventory control systems and cash handling procedures.
- Experience with staff training, development, and shift management is essential.
- Previous roles in casual dining or fine dining establishments are preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with a focus on team management and customer service excellence.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations is crucial for maintaining compliance.
