Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring efficient processing
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to ensure a welcoming atmosphere
- Manage cash handling and cashiering duties accurately, including open and close procedures with POS systems like OpenTable
- Foster positive guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food service experience, preferably in fine dining or nightclub settings
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy service periods efficiently
- Proven ability to upsell menu items and enhance guest experiences through exceptional customer service
- Experience in serving, bussing, host/hostess roles or related hospitality positions is a plus
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order accuracy are essential
