The Assistant Operations Manager supports the day-to-day management of a South Florida portfolio of office and flex industrial properties. Reporting directly to the VP of Operations, the role focuses on property operations, tenant relations, vendor management, leasing support, and operational reporting. Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily operations across multiple properties.
- Primary contact for tenant requests.
- Oversee maintenance issue resolution and tenant satisfaction.
- Manage move-ins, move-outs, and onboarding processes.
- Assist with rent collections and delinquency tracking.
- Support budgeting, expense monitoring, and invoice processing.
- Coordinate vendor payments and Assist CAM reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate property, lease, and tenant records.
- Support leasing efforts.
- Coordinate space readiness for showings and occupancy.
- Manage relationships with contractors and service providers.
- Coordinate inspections and preventive maintenance programs.
- Ensure properties remain safe, clean, and efficiently operated.
- Assist with vendor bidding and contract management..
Requirements
- 2–5 years of operations and/or property management experience.
- Experience in commercial real estate preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
- Understanding of rent rolls, CAM charges, and budgeting.
- Proficiency with MS Office (excel & word) software.
- Able to manage multiple priorities across several assets.
This role is designed for an individual with high organizational and communication skills.
Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
