We are seeking an experienced and credentialed Florida real estate appraiser to support litigation matters involving vacant land valuation, easement impacts, access limitations, and marketability issues. This is a contract-based role on an as-needed basis and includes expert opinion development and court testimony.
Responsibilities
- Review deeds, plats, surveys, and title-related documents
- Analyze fair market value of vacant land and other real property
- Evaluate impact of easements, access limitations, and encumbrances on value
- Conduct site inspection if necessary
- Prepare written expert opinion suitable for court submission
- Provide deposition and trial testimony as required
- Defend valuation conclusions in legal proceedings
Qualifications
- Active Florida appraiser license or certification, preferably Certified General
- Strong experience in Florida land valuation
- Experience with easement or access-related valuation issues preferred
- Prior expert witness or litigation support experience preferred
- Strong written reporting and verbal testimony skills
Compensation
- Flat $200 per desktop appraisal, deposition and trial testimony
- Engagements assigned on a project-by-project basis
