Job Overview
We are seeking skilled and passionate Mixologists to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cocktail preparation, beverage service, and customer engagement. As a Mixologist, you will be responsible for crafting unique and high-quality drinks while providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. Your creativity and attention to detail will contribute to an unforgettable guest experience.
Must be 21 years of age and available to work anytime between the hours of 8p-2a Tues - Sat. You must have open availability between those hours.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wines, and specialty drinks.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
- Engage with customers to provide recommendations and answer questions about the drink menu.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the health and safety of guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food pairings with beverages for events or special occasions.
- Utilize Aloha POS system for order processing and payment handling.
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills during busy shifts to ensure prompt service.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a mixology or bartending role within a food service environment.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
- Proficient in basic math skills for accurate drink measurements and cash handling.
- Familiarity with retail math concepts for inventory management is preferred.
- Experience in fine dining establishments or banquet services is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with customers effectively.
- A passion for brewing techniques and innovative cocktail creation is highly desirable.
