POSITION OVERVIEW
The Youth Contractor is a part-time contract position that will serve as part of the workforce development team. Primary responsibilities include the successful operation of youth pre-apprenticeship programs in a K-12/CTE setting(s) across NE Ohio. The Youth Contractor will support the design and program operations, to ensure quality services are delivered.
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience
Must have 2+ years of experience with proficiency in following areas:
· Workforce development
· Stakeholder management
· Program implementation
· Experience in career technical education or K-12 setting
Prefer experience in the following areas:
· Software: Microsoft 365, Teams, Dynamics 365, SharePoint, OneDrive
· Pre-apprenticeship programs
· Manufacturing
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field
o Bachelor’s Degree can be substituted for at least 3+ years of experience in related field/industry

RESPONSIBILITIES
· Implement youth pre-apprenticeship programs in NE Ohio, primarily in the manufacturing, commercial/industry construction, and renewable energy industries.
· Collaborate with stakeholders to facilitate and organize work-based learning activities with school partners, including delivering curriculum, organizing plant tours and job shadows, running simulated work-based activities, and placement and retention of interns.
· Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders involved in the pre-apprenticeship programs and other experts to meet program standards.
· Support the management of the Technical Corps Program and all related activities.
· Collaborate and provide cross-referrals with other programs within the workforce department and Manufacturing Works to support the efforts and overall mission.
· Ensure timely program results, data entry/management, and completion of all program documentation in compliance with all stakeholders and grant requirements.
· Support Manufacturing Works’ objectives to retain and grow a healthy NE Ohio manufacturing base, as well as other aspects of the organization’s mission.
· Other responsibilities and duties as assigned.
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Cleveland, OH 44102
