Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CT Technologist to join our imaging team. Under the supervision of a Radiologist, the CT Technologist performs computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures as ordered by physicians or licensed providers to assist in diagnosing disease and injury. The technologist follows established imaging protocols and ensures high-quality diagnostic results while maintaining patient safety and comfort.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging procedures according to physician orders and established protocols
- Ensure accurate positioning and imaging of patients for diagnostic quality
- Maintain patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality during procedures
- Operate CT equipment and maintain proper imaging standards
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members for accurate diagnostics
- Follow radiation safety guidelines and hospital policies
- Document procedures and maintain accurate records
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- 1 year of experience required (entry-level or new grad also accepted)
- Current BLS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire/transfer
- ARRT certification required
- CNMT (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist) accepted in place of ARRT Nuclear Medicine certification
- Valid Texas Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) license
Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
